The locally owned and operated Huizenga and Wierenga Insurance Agency has been operated in the Fulton, Illinois are since 1934. It was started by the lat C.G. Huizenga. He passed away in 1964 and the business was continued by his son, Wayne Huizenga. In 1988 Wayne purchased the Irv Strating Insurance Agency of Fulton, Illinois and merged with the Clifford Wierenga Insurance Agency of Fulton, Illinois. The name then became Huizenga and Wierenga Insurance Agency, Inc.

In June of 1988, Wayne purchased the Clifford Wierenga Insurance Agency and the name remained Huizenga and Wierenga Insurance Agency, Inc.

Wayne retired in 2001 and the business is currently owned and operated by his two sons, David who has been with the agency for 17 years and Randy who has been with the agency for 4 years. The office which remains in Fulton, Illinois is managed by Nancy Huizenga who has been a long time employee of the agency, she is assisted by Sue Hartman who has also been employed with the agency for many years.

The several services are provided by Huizenga and Wierenga Insurance include Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Commercial, Medicare Supplements through Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also offer CD's though MetLife Bank.

We have provided the sports calendars for the Steamers for over 20 years and support the Sports Boosters Golf Outing. This past year was the first year we offered the Fingerprint Clinic during the Night Out Against Crime.
